So whats the story with vehicle saftey does it need cage/4point roll bar or is it so long as has brakes and emegancy brake. Sounds like a good event and haven't been there for a few years now so wouldn't mind coming down.

Hi, the comp is suited more for your everyday four wheel drive that is road regestered, there is no need Requirements for a roll cage, it is not that hard of a event. the event is designed to keep damage to the minium.
Thanks

there are also limited number of competitors, at the moment Heidi and Hans are looking at around 100, that could change. And also, only one driver per vehicle. No limit to spectators of course :D

If you want to fax an entry form off to them, you can download it here;

Right click and save as.

I'll be there! Can't wait, leaving early friday morning...plan to see some of the park this year instead of just watching the events all day.

Just a reminder for those competeing that you will need helmets and for the Queensland drivers you will need Third party Extension, you must have a copy of this to show us to be able to compete.
Thanks

No snow and not as cold as i was expecting (not saying it wasn't cold :P) weather worked out great stopped raining as we were almost there and stayed fine all weeked apart from the odd spit :)
Was my first time at this event but seemed to go good with only 1 rollover and minimal damages. Worst being the crazy cruiser driver (Ray) snapping the steering box shaft clean off :roll: Oh and the sierra roll over at pretty much the same time :armsup:
