AUTO-LOCKERS

Post by monkeyplex »

Ok, I,ve decided im gonna stick with my BFG AT 215's until they die, which might be some time. I think the old open diff is stopping me getting everywhere i want now. Im researching a locker for the back.

What are your views on diff locks, specifically auto-lockers? And if anyone has them, are they worth the money?

Cheers

I got a Detroit Locker sent over from Roadless Gear in the U.S. which is fairly cheap and it has been awesome so far! I don't have any problems with it being clunky now that the motor and everythings running smoothly with no backlash.
The funnest part about autolockers is lockin up around corners with a little bit of loud peddle

P.S. Just incase your interested i have a brand new unused rear mini-spool locker sitting on my bench taking upspace

Ive got some Lockrites made by Richmond gears in the USA, theyre fantastic, and the zook being so lite ive never had trouble with them on the road or anything. Definately worthwhile.
