Are 92 softtop sierra diffs identicle

Post by Rabbit »

Can someone please advise me if the front and rear diffs in a 1.3 sierra soft top are identicle? :?:

I have a mechanical diff locker in the back of my '92 Sierra softtop that I would like to put in the front. Can I swap them over?? :?:

Thanks

You will need to change the front diff to a 4-pin and use the front diff side gears, and the axle spline count front to rear is different. Easy job though.
