clicking noise around front tyre

Post by petey »

Hey guys i can hear a clicking noise behind my front right side tyre every time i turn a corner, the tyre isn't rubbing and my CV joint (which i thought it was) isn't damaged or broken. Any ideas what the problem is?

have you actually pulled the cv out and checked the cage as well as the Bell??????
Lockers or Knockers ,both will make for fun.

the noise isn't coming from the tyre but from behind it and i took the whole CV joint apart, cleaned it and couldn't find a fault. I couldn't find anything stuck in the tread either

i'd guarantee it'd be the cv joint, i don't know your knowledge extent so don't take this personally but if u don't know what u are looking for it probably would look ok but any wear would cause "clicking sound", i wouldn't rule it out unless you are confident with your inspection
