Make a fuse able link to go in place. I have one on mine and its been there for abiut 4 years.

Buy some fuse able link wire and put terminals on it.
get under it

Local car hifi store is your friend !
Buy some in line fuse with standard changeable fuses. Easy fix and longterm fix also.

Look at the late model Nissan cars at Pick a Part or Center Rd Wreckers. Fusible links are pretty common.

cheers for the feedback guys,

i redid all the wires with inlince fuseable ones.

and the reason im whinging is the fact that nissan wanted so much for stardard issue fuses and told me no one else had them in victoria, and that would have to ship them down, being a big company they are and with how many cars are on the road of theirs they would have stock of common parts at the larger dealerships, and be cheaper than $18 for a small bloody fuse.

have you tryed an auto electrition, as we can get most types of fuses at work. i dont know what your fuse looks like but our big amperage fuses are around the $9 mark. do you know what caused the fuse to blow as it becomes an expensive exercise putting a new fuse in and watching it blow

The main reason large dealerships need to have more expensive prices is to buy all the specialist machines and diagnostic computers etc they also have much bigger overheads than small one man workshops. If they stocked all the small parts for every nissan in every parts shop then you would be paying $40 for your bloody fuse. FAIR DINKUM!!!
