diesel snorkel to petrol 1uzfe
would it work? pretty simple got cheap diesel snorkel and wonderin if fit
If it's for the same car, you would only need to redo the plumbing in the engine bay to the airbox... no dramas at all.
Hopefully the petrol and diesels have the snorkel on the same side of the car, or it could get a bit tricky.

mostly this is not in the snorkel but rather in the plumbing from the snorkel to the airbox, there is no poit in having a different mould for a snorkel that needs to fit on the same body, the only time I would suggest there would be any restriction in the body of the snorkel would be when the other engine requires the snorkel on the opther sidetweak'e wrote:one thing to watch....petrol snorkels sometimes have a restriction in them to stop the ram air effect screwing up air flow sensors (andd some carby's). deisel snorkels have that restriction removed.
it would be worth checking the local suplier of the snorkel you have and checking if there is any restriction in the plumbing and maybe even get a price on the plumbing kit if they can do it as it may be worth getting it rather than making the required gear up yourself
If the above post did not offend you in any way please PM me so I can try harder!!
the one i remember the restriction was a washer in the top of the snorkel. pull the top hat off to get to it. it was only of interest due to the snorkell being made for petrol motors and being fitted to deisels. some of the aftermarket crowds have a thing about import only diesel vechiles....go figure.
