81 FJ60 landcruiser ankrige point for capsule

hi guys, i have just acquired a 81 FJ60 and need to put a baby capsule in to it but can't find a ankrige point for it.

can someone shed some light on what i need to do to put one in

you need to have a crab bar fitted.

my 60 has 4 tie-down points in the cargo area, 2 close to the rear seats. These would surely be able to be convertted to a capsule anchorage point.

I would still be getting a proffesional to do it though.

in the back of my sixty on the back of the rear seat there is a mount for a baby seat there is three you my seat had carpet on the back off it so i had to search for it but was in the middle and there are three of them for each seat position if you know what i mean

yep i know what you mean that is the same as the old mans 60 (FJ62) but may one i can't find one (FJ60)

Just make sure that what ever you do mounting point wise, that you get it checked out by a qualified fitter.

after all it will be holding your most valuable cargo.

A mate has a bar across the back of his 60 that is made for bracing a capsule. It simply sits just in front of and b/w the very back two windows...its just a peice of pipe...
62 was Petrol, now 12ht ! Body lift, lockers, spring lift, reverse offset rocrawler...? rims, NO RUST, some more stufffff....

i had one fitted in my 40 but since sold it. but there is one on Ebay at the moment in a Jackaroo but bear in mind they are adjustable
