Its normally only the side passanger engine mounting rubber that fails.

From memory Viclore had a roll that poped the mounts apart.

Oh .. apparently engine mount for one of the chrysler vehicles are a direct bolt in I am trying to hunt down which motor/vehicle they are from ..

They are normally used to tie a 5.2 litre motor to the chassis .. so an 1.3 or 1.6 should be no real biggie

From memory it was something like that .. if anyone elese used to subscribe to the old "topica" Zuk list it was origionally posted up by crow horse.

With a little searching I have found that roadless gear sell em as "forever motor mounts" http://www.roadlessgear.com/page/RGL/PROD/E/RG241
but does not say what they are actually for ... it is driving me crazy now trying to remember .... I know that it was for a 318 though

I read a thread somewhere on the net recenlty about the 318 mounts. What I read possible on pirate4x4 was they are offset to help with driver side mount with 1600 conversion. It was late at night though

Yep just did a quick search on zuwharrie and YES the mounts are offset and are used to lower the motor.
Not sure where to buy them but I spose you could go to your local parts place and ask to look at there book. Tell them what you are after they should be able to help. Ive nearly talked myself into doing this :)
