Yeah have this problem too.

I have only had a look underneath the car, I found a small plate that seems to have something sitting on top of it just near the fuel filler side of the fuel tank. I have not had time to go further in but i think the plate is guarding the black box.

Can anyone back this up? Also has anyone bought the replacment part at all..... Price?

If the plate is on the RHS chassis rail near the spring mount, its the fuel pump splash guard you are looking at.

The black box is behind the rear right hand side trim inside at the back. (near the back of the RHS rear speaker.)
Unclip the vinal trim on the RHS with a flat screwdriver and you will see it

It would be worthwhile checking your oxy sensor for that problem- see if it's responding straight away to mixture changes. They get sluggish when they're "dead" and cause hesitation issues because the mixtures are all out of whack with where the throttle is. ;)

Thanks Murcod, thats on the list. I'll probably replace the leads aswell.. then there is the starter motor!

No biggy, wife went to pick up a friend from the airport then phoned me to say it wouldn't start. Get there everything works fine, plenty of juice in the battery all lights OK. Try jumping just to make sure, nothing wasn't even trying. Thinking Ok starter but have never had one just die before, they usually give some warning.... maybe it is stuck engaged... headlights on turn key no noticeable dim in the headlights so no big power draw.... try wriggling the connections on the back of the starter which all seem tight, Roza roars in to life next turn of the key and hasn't missed a beat since (being started 3-4 times a day for the last 4 days) SO guess I'll be removing them and cleaning them up.... or possibly a dodgy earth I have knocked without noticing whilst playing with the starter...

Anyway fun fun fun!
