4Runner/Hilux Front Tube bars, where can I buy one??

Post by cbr »

I am finally going to get rid of my ugly alloy bar on my 4ruuner. I am looking for a tube bar that can have a winch mounted.

So who makes them for a 4runner with a 2" BL ??

Here are the only one I have come across ->

I think Snake Racing might make one (maybe ask Guts he has one).
Also I think Cheesy is making tube front bars too.

dave (trail tough equipment) made mine for my 4runner. It`s an awesome bar  . I think sam at overkill makes up pretty much the same type so give him a call.

we can make you one.

I only have a pic of one half finished, unless Rhys from 4wd monthly reads this then he could put up a pic of a completed one.

BTW I am in Perth, any idea on the cost associated with frieght??

Maybe it would be cheaper to get someone local to make it, because of the frieght issue!!!

Anyone in WA know of some good fabricators that can build me one ???

That particular hilux was a nightmare! We had to weld on mounts to the chassis so we could then bolt on the bar. It has a 3 inch bodylift and then a massive drop hanger crossmember so we couldnt mount it the standard way.

I could get a runner and fab a bar of it and send it over. I have no idea on how much to ship it over, it probably would be cheaper to get one made over there.

I will try and get some pics of the one on the hilux. I took a bar to 4wd monthly for a photo shoot, rhys has some pics of it, i will try and get them too. It is a bit different to the one on the hilux.

What winch do you have?
