Great. So im assuming you own one and checked this? I was guessing it would be at the rear but wasnt sure. Is it 2wd or 4wd? Are they both the same?Homebrew wrote:Deep end at the rear and yes it is alloy.RUFF wrote:Anyone here own one? I need you too look at something for me. Is the sump a front or rear drop? Mine is 4WD, however the 2WD runs the same motor and actually so does the Commodore.
Whats with the interest in the Alloytech are you considering one?
Mine is averaging 11.4L/100km in the city and less again on highway - can't say anything re offroad as I want to have it for 8 weeks before hitting the tracks etc.

Thanks i know all about the Commodores. They have a front sump. Im about to do a conversion with one and needed a rear sump. The sump on the alloytech is fairly complex and not just a simple cut and shut job like most other sumps. The pick up actually mounts to the sump not the block and the sump is also important on supporting the bellhousing.Homebrew wrote:Mine is 4WD, however the 2WD runs the same motor and actually so does the Commodore.
