anyone know if the electric window button from the drivers side door that you push once and the window goes all the way down will fit the passengers side on a GU? if it does, does anyone out there have a spare one they wanna sell?

I don't know about Patrols, but typically these switches incorporate a simple mechanical device to sense current overload. While the window is winding the motor's back EMF reduces the current draw. Once the motor stalls there's no back EMF, current increases and the "circuit breaker" trips.
If the Patrol switch works like this, I would expect it to work in any door.
