Absolutely worth it.

Small walk up a hill........2 tracks side by side. Plenty of food and drinks available

The weather is perfect. Sensational views from the top of the hill.

Can't see it finishing at 4pm.......maybe 5-6pm finish

Just got home now....Only saw the first 2 courses and it was awesome.....

Not a whole lot of breakages but a fair few rollovers including a ripper by Mal(Tuff Truck winner)

Michelle(Nams better half)had her 1st drive today and her first roll but still managed a negative score, was a spectacular finish with her rolling through the finish gate.

Now i'm not familiar with the interstate guys to well but Sam Overton was doing very well and was right behind Pete who took the insane bonus line on Track 1 and busted his steering but managed to still finish..

Shane and Zac where doing vey well along with the M+M boys
Ben i think it is correct me if i'm wrong (Green Buggy wth white star) rolled on both course 1 and 2

Mock in The Rodent had a spectacular roll on track 1 which saw quiete a few spectators taking cover....

If anyone is thinking of heading out tomorrow make sure u do...Its been run really well with buggies constantly running, great food, great atmosphere and some expert commentry from Cheezy :D

I had a great day there yesterday and that drive of Pete's on course 1's bonus line was done with a set of big ones   Mick and James in the Rodent were entertaining the crowd (James, you need to get some kevlar pants  ) There were some great drives, some great saves including Michelle's on course 1 and of course some great rolls. Lots of rigs and action to be seen up close and personal so get out there today, you won't be disappointed.

Adrian (POS) phoned the placing are (sorry don't know the scores).

Pete 1st
Adrian (POS) 2nd
Mooney 3rd
Firetruck 4th

Congratulations guys.

Sounds like it was a great event.

Adrian sustained an injury to his leg when his car drove over his leg (I'll let him explain when they are home) but the ambo said all is ok (think it's a torn muscle in the calf not broken)

Sean, (I think) was also ran over by his own buggy. He was working on it with the motor running, went to turn it off and bumped it into drive. He was taken to the hospital but they have said he ok (dislocated shoulder not sure what else).

All in all Adrian seemed happy and said it was a great event. Well done to the organisers!!

We went along yesterday and had an absolute ball. Anyone who chose not to go missed out bigtime.

Cheezy, never met you before but I gather you organised the whole weekend. Hats off to you! We'll definitely be at the next one!

Thanks also to the drivers for putting on a great show.

Apologies to piking early and missing the presentations.

Big  to everyone involved in organising such a fantastic event (especially to Cheezy and Sharon). Whatever deal you did with the big man above, Cheezy, it worked and the weather was absolutely stunning!

Thanks again, and I had a ball... couldn't have done it without my awesome spotter though!

also many thanks to kane and dan for lending us the comms and showing me a new world of spotting. ben, troy (mantis motorsports), david (bfgoodrich) and jamie (4x4 specialist) for assisting fixing our air shocks. webbie, andrew and tim for assistance with the radiator. special mentions to hoang for helping out with the towing - coming up and back, up and back for 3 days straight.

oh yeah it took us 40minutes to get home. how long did it take everyone else? haha :finger:

Home now & showered (all good)
Man what an AWESOME event this was  I've missed the last couple and wow has everyone stepped up a couple of notches, there were some insane rollovers and a few drive train ouches  BUT everyone drove really well and Cheezy & crew outdid themselves on the courses, a great lot of hard drives with cool drop offs (glad I didn't have to drive'em though) and some good technical stuff too. Great to see the boys from QLD, NSW & even WA mixing it with us Mexican's.
Well done everyone

Cheers

ok with over 400 photos and an hours worth of video i'll do my best to load up the photobucket album, but there are no promises

Never seen Human rock crawling before... certainly an event for the dis-orderly and those up for chaos!

Sundays will be added in once i get feeling back into my fingers to resize and rename them.

A big thanks to all the competitors, and organisers, a great event guys n girl... some jaw dropping close calls, some dirty jocks are worn by some of the spectators im sure!

Mr Cheesy done a super job of commentating, crowd control, and general running of the event. SSAA a massive  for an awsome location and some great tucker on saturday night! and to the 'man above' for giving us the weather to be comfortable.

Was great to be able to put some faces to the names and meet those from interstate. Great people.. ALL OF YOU!

Did the Queensland guys happen to miss the turn off for the western ring road? or you went to the big smoke to see the city lights!??

Mock forever the showpony :D

Went down on Saturday and all Ican say is what a great evennt. Cheezy you and your team have managed to pull off another fantastic event. Brilliant venue, so close to Melbourne and with amazing potential for alo to f events there I reckon, I hope we'll see some more rounds held there.

Mark is the best commentator bar none out there. He manages to keep everyone informed on what is happening explaining the terminology whilst plugging the sponsors and maintaining a very safe atmosphere. he is constantly making people aware of what is going on, making sure that they are watching their kids etc. Top job, but I bet he wishes he was out there driving.

The courses were difficult yet doable as evidenced by pete and his ballsy bonus line drive on the first track

Great to see Michelle giving it a go with NAM doing a great job spotting.

Well done everyone. I recommend to everyone next time OzRock are having an event make the effort to get there
