ARB Locker Diagram is WRONG....

ARB Locker Diagram is WRONG....
OK, either the diagram on the web is old, or the switch wiring has changed, or it's just plain wrong. I tend to think it's wrong because mine came wired as per the diagram on the web, and it lit up wrong. It also went back to ARB 2 weeks ago, and they didn't spot anythign weird.
Check this out if you have the factory setup.
There are 2 lights in each switch, both the same (too big and hot) bulbs (oh for LED's).
The small "bar" one should come on with your headlights.
The big "box" one should come on with the switch.
The switches should be wired (if sticking to ARB design) such that they must be activated in this order - Compressor, Rear Locker, Front Locker. The lights will only illuminate when they are "activated"
My big square lights used to be on all the time.
Can you guys check yours, and if they don't activate as my description above, I'll post new wiring instructions and a diagram
Just trying to figure out if it's just me, of if this is a larger screw up somewhere.

I checked it
The two top terminals are for a bulb - no conenction to switch. This is the "small light"
The middle terminal is a NO point (power in)
The bottom terminal on same side as the middle terminal is the other side of the switch. It is also connects to one side of the "large" light.
The bottom terminal on the other side of the switch is conencted to the other side of the "large" light.
That makes the small light for the dash illumination and the large light illuminated when the switch is in the On position.
That makes the diagram wrong (asuming it is still up to date)
Any other thoughts?

I'm glad someone else has found an ISSUE with the switch wiring of the ARB Lockers. I thought it was just me.
My little lights would indicate if the locker was ON/OFF and the BIG light would come on with dash lights. and they are TOO BRIGHT for night driving.
I adopted a different solution. It is hard to see the 'little light' because I mounted the switches under the clock on my disco. SO I used diodes and a couple of 100 ohm reistors to have the BIG light get DIM light via 100 ohm and diode from the dashlight circuit. Then via a second diode the BIG light gets full volts from the switch when it is ON. So now I have dimm lights so I can find the suckers in the dark (day is not an issue) and I get a bright indication of whatever is ON.
I couldn't be bothered trying to re-figure the way they wired it all up and what connector went where. I also used A LOT !!! of hot-melt glue to mount all my switches in place so moving them around etc was not an easy option.
I wonder if ARB have heard of LED's?
You'd think in this day and age they could have a better solution.

I agree. Mine too was wrong and I just switched it around.me3@neuralfibre.com wrote:I checked it

kranked.... how did you wire them up that way as i would like to do it
thanks
