The 15 has a scaner but I was wondering if the 95 has the scaner as well, I've been trying to figure it out, as would like to have the scaner bit.

Know much about uniden radios?

I've read that it doesn't say anything about a scaner like the 015sx one does but will scan over a range but you have to put in a freq.
I was wondering if this was the same thing?

The 095sx is a UHF/AM radio, but on ebay they say it has a scaner as well, the manual has something about select freq to scan over but doesn't say it's a trunk scaner like the 015sx.
That's basicly my question I suppose.

The guys at Telstat in Seaford are very good. Give them a call as they should be able to answer your questions. You may have an equivalent business in your area but I know these guys are helpfull.
PS some of the Uniden range is being replaced so you might be able to get a bargain on the older range
