Need a little info from the nissan owners. I am looking at buying a 02 nissan navara 3.0l diesel and was looking on the redbook at the specs and found that it says that the navara has mechanical injection where as the patrol has electronic.
My question is, is the navara an electronic engine and does it have the same amount of sensors as the potrols or is it a standard type diesel with a standard turbo

Re: navara specs
with '02 models you could have 3 different motors, the old 2.7, the 3.2 and the 3.0 (ZD30).trendsetter wrote:Need a little info from the nissan owners. 2.7 is mechanical, the 3.2 i'm not sure but it think its mechanical. the 3.0 litre ZD30 has only been electronic. the differences between the patrol is standard type turbo instead of variable turbo, no MAF sensor and no intercooler. it has less power than the patrol. injection system is the same.
