try get your hands on a 4runner or surf turbo would be the easiest option i think and the cheapest
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer

Yeah ct20 should be heaps for a 2.2 off 2lt and 2lte powered surfs and runners think some thing maybe be a bit differant (not efi related) between the 2 engines but been told they both work
plenty of parts on the bench

if i remember correctly the 2.2 is the 1L motor. the first series 2LT manifold might fit striaght on. the later 2LT and 2LT-E proberly won't.

The CT 20 is the one used across the range, the early ct20 used on the 2LT (2.4 early cast alloy rocker cover) has a bolt on flange for the crossover pipe. to fit the turbo manifold you will have to drill and tap two opposing bolts in the head as well as swap the oil cooler housing and put a drain into the sump. The factory turbo runs different exhaust valves and cam lift and duration, but it is a very common conversion. keep an eye out for a complete blown early surf motor, just cheaper in the long run to get all the bits needed
