Hey guys,
I am considering having an inverted shock kit installed in the back end of my hilux and was hoping to hear from some people who have had it done. Are you happy with it both on and off road and did it allow better flex etc
What sort of dollars should I expect to pay to have the kit installed?

It's not the only thing that helps it work but it goes a fair way as stock the only side movement they get is through the bush which is not much. with mine longer springs again and repostion shocks a bit and it'll go a bit more but i'm fairly happy for now.

plenty of parts on the bench
I have the a-frame shock setup in mine, works well and is good on the road. Will allow your springs to flex further obviously with longer shocks. Recently changed mine back to stock shocks and u-bolt plates for pits inspection and going back i reckon it rides better when they are inverted. Both rancho adjustables on the softest setting too, just different lengths.
hey sic lux- just curious mate how long are your rear shocks? 9012's?

Great Pic SL, yeah i got them to - only bought the lower mounts and got bubs of the board to fab up a top mount on existing crossmember (no diff repositioning to fit in tub wheel wells still) Simple and allow better flex by far.
