who has flipped the centres in a set of sunrasia rims. (i mean done the work themselves, not paid someone to do it)
what is the easiest way to cut the centres out, and what you use for a jig. was thinking could use and old hub and spindle(so rim will turn) on a flat bench and checking it runs true??
any suggestions appreciated.

I have done a couple of sets but it is a massive PITA.
Cut the welds out with a grinder, set them up and welded them on a table with steel plates setting the backspacing.
One set was quite true, the other set didn't work as well.
In Melb, its about $35/wheel to change backspacing. I'd just pay the $$$ to know they were right.
If you had a rotary table or a really big lathe it would be easier to get them right, but it's still a PITA.

That was a while ago and I don't remember the details, but it was no paint etc.
