What is the Largest Tyre that'll fit without Modification?
What do you think of Making Leaf Springs with the Centre Pin Hole midway in the Leaf(Instead of towards the front), With a 3 Stage 4 Leaf Pack? Also would have to: Lengthen the Handbrake, Brake and Proportioning Valve Lines, Make Propellor Shaft Spacers(41.25mm at Transfercase and 41.25mm at Pinion) and Custom Damper Mounting with Linked Air Shocks.
A 4" b/l is getting into somewhat unchartered territory for Mitsu's, a 2" is very straightfoward, 3" is starting to get fiddly, 4" will require quite a bit of work. The Japs are big on high body lifts but their imfo suggests a lot of custom work required for anything over 3".
I would say a 3" b/l and 2-3" s/l should run Q78's as the later model Tritons have a factory body lift (body mounts are welded 30mm higher on the chassis).
I'm running 34" JT's (34.7") on a Paj with 2" b/l and 2.5" s/l with only minimal rubbing at the front on full lock (mine doesn't have the factory b/l).
In regards to the propshaft spacers, you can do this at the diff end as it is flanged but the t/case end is a slip yoke design.
I'd be pretty confident either of those tyre sizes would fit stock. Probly need a bit of a tweek of the torsion bars to level the ride height.
I'm also pretty sure that the ROH Trak 2's only come in the one offset size in both 16x8 or 15x8.
Locky from Pro Comp is the best one to answer that one though.
