Engine capa limits.

Post by heathgu »

Can anyone tell me or know of someone to speak with about engine capacity limits regarding qld. Is it a percentage thing.

I want to know can i build a stroker roughly 6.6-7.0litre and turbo it. put it in my Gu patrol ute.

Cheers Heath.

according to the ratio I looked at a few years ago for Qld transport maximum displacment for a gq coil cab would be 9.8l forced indution or 12l n/a. this is due to the factory kerb weight and full chassis it would be higher in a wagon but I'd check with Qld transport first

12lt might be abit to much for the engine bay. The firewall is going to be massaged. ;)

I checked recently. You need to get the kerbweight from nissan for your model. Multiply it by .333 eg 2400 kg x.333= 799 cubic inches natrally aspirated. Places that do mod plates should have this info on file
