what size tyres are you running?
how do you drive?
do you enjoy changing cv's on the side of a track or after every trip?

mq cv's are weak as piss. our mk has a welded rear with 35's and it has a habit of snapping axels regularily. so id think a welded front would be just plain stupid (welded fronts are stupid in any car tho :P)

ps zero's mq has an air locker and killed one cv in the 3 trips it came out on before its rebuild.
would have to be alot better than a welded front tho

ive got welded front an rear. crap steering but tops in a straight line

i broke/smashed the drivers CV, and broke off the rear axle on the same side.
i had to get a new rear center welded up as it wedged itself in the old center

Yeah spose i do run 35 mickey T's pretty hard on it.. i broke 1 CV just driving down a dam bank on full lock when RF hit the ground it broke.. i say that i dont drive very hard becoz im sick of changing CV's ...

I think a locked front diff is great for climing up and over things. Just when its welded its hard to control when u should use it. I usually just unlock one front hub to stop the prob but u get lazy right!!

Dont have a locked rear,, i always thought a locked front was of more use, anyhoows its bogged now down to the sills over the paddock for 2night right behind another one of my old wrecks i was tryin to pull out.. Job for tractor 2morrow!!
