Electric fuel pump with LPG
G'day guys,
just trying to get the petrol working on my tb42 in my maverick and i noticed that the fuel pump isn't wired up. my question is should it turn off when i switch to LPG or stay on. just trying to work out how to wire it up.

generally the fuel pump is kept running, just make sure you leave fuel in it other wise it will burn the pump out..
i have disconnected a few it doesnt really matter. some people say on / off..
just add a relay in the fuel pump wiring. activate the rlay off the petrol side of the lpg switch..

Exactly right i have lost count of how many people have asked me why i run mine on lpg all have said to use petrol while 4x4ing, but in my case gas is more reliable than fuel cos its a gas not a liquid so there is no pickupscout392 wrote:LPG is way better off road thjan a carb.
If you have a huge power differance there might be a problem with the LPG system.
