if you really realy going to do it, go out and buy a gti bottom end and use std vit 8v pistons, swap over the water pipe and water pump, put on the head.

Forged crank and beefy rods, cop some Serious abuse from the gti tuners

ok i understand what you want to do with what you have allready,

i think a mild port job would be better suited(unshroud the valve,tidy up the short turn & blend the guide area).fit a mild cam.
max porting normally better suited to methanol
yes i have done a 1.3 with a port & cam,it went well but the whole power thing gets addictive thats why i go with toyota donks these days.

try skimming the head (comp up 1 point) and adjusting the timing to suit and running on premium. you will be suprised at how much difference this makes, will easily hold 110 up hils in 5th with 31's on.
it cost us round $50 to get it skimmed and it easily gave more performance than a set of extractors did

With forced induction (blower)? Dont think tha zuk 1300 will like that.
