First off, stop posting while heavily medicated or pissed (or both). It makes it hard to understand what you're asking.

I think you're asking if its legal to run a cage with bars going over the door openings and not running doors?

Well, there has been a few threads about the legalities of runnin no doors on road so hit the search button and start reading, the general consensus is that you can do it as long as you have side mirrors. However, all it takes is one cop having a bad day.....

Personally, I would just go half doors. They are fairly easy to fab up if you already have a couple of doors to use, otherwise contact a reputable 4wd shop near you.
Seeing you're in Newport, Mitchell Bros or Pro4x4 (9938 6200) spring to mind. Both are located in brooky and could fab you up some half doors easy as.

Roll Cage

Post by BADFJ »

Unless you can weld, a cage is gonna set you back a hell of a lot. You can probably by just the roll bar off ebay, or here, if you want a full cage like I imported from Metaltech in USA, including install, allow about 2k..
Good Luck with the project
