So your loosing most of the water in 200 - 250 km's ?

I would have to cracked pipe or radiator, that seems to be alot when you cnat find where its going.

If you leave it for a few days will it still loose water ?

Sounds stupid but its always the last place you check.

I just got the radiator reconditioned. Ill have a look for sliced or cracked pipes. If I cant find anything else wrong with it im thinking about changing absolutely every single water pipe the thing has just to be sure. I am also thinking about upgrading my radiator to an alluminium core gq one. Any suggestions or recommendations are more than welcome.

Not leaking out of the heater core into your footwells? or out onto the ground? small crack in the overflow bottle even?
Cheers,
Dan.

Here's another really stupid one. The pick-up tube on the overflow/cath can sometimes comes undone on the older Patrols. Happens to mine regularly, have fixed it with a cable tie. What happens then is that the catch can overflows because when you switch off and engine cools it can't suck the water back. You can't really see because it is not hot enough to steam but is hot enough to evaporate when it runs out the little overflow tube on top. Took me a while to figure out. Eventually radiator is empty.

My overflow bottle is damages slightly and is leaking. I've got a spare, ill swap em over and see if that works. Or thinking bout putting a falcon one in. More room for my snorkle.
