Hi,
Does anyone know if a snorkel for another type of car can be adapted to fit on a feroza?
I know they can be made but I prefer the look of standard snorkels.
Or even if a feroza snorkel can be bought from another country?
Thanks,
Sandy

adapting a snorkel for a feroza

Yes I have heard they were made for feroza's at some stage. I rang about 10 or so 4WD shops in NSW and one of them said the feroza snorkels have been discontinued.
But I suppose trying to find one of them would be almost impossible. I might have to conisider stainless steel
Do you think it would be worth it? Are feroza's ok to go in deep water with a snorkel or do they have other limitations?

It is worth it if you plan to go in any water/mud.
Feroza's have limitations such as getting water in the distributor, it makes the car stop, but not wreck the motor like water in the intake does.
The stainless ones work well (I made a 3" one for my Rocky) and BushBuster (Jon) made a PCV one for his Roza, which came up quite good. TheRocky also has a PVC snorkel on his rig.
I think Jon was selling the ones he makes at some stage?
Otherwise, its looking at different cars that you think have the same guard/A-pillar shape as the Roza and mod one to fit. (Mind you a new Safari etc is abour $400)... Which works out dear if its for trial and error.
