no real need to have your car there unless you need some tech advice and want to point at something.
Nothing required except yourself.

As we said last night, get it out there stock on a trip and have some fun. You'll learn a bit about it and see what others have done to give you some ideas about what you want to achieve ultimately.4wd junky wrote:im with vicelore.

AAAAAGHHHH NOOOOOOOOOO
Any standard suzuki is up for 90% of club trips.
We loose more potential members than you could imagine by people coming along to a meeting and getting the impression they can;t bring a car on a trip until it is modified, so they go home, start a build up and never finish it or run out of money or sell it or whatever.
Most members on most trips are driving very standard cars and they are most often the members who are attending th emost trips and having the most fun.
The more modified the car, the less trips it comes on per year.
I know people don't want to hold the trip up or get stuck too much or whatever, but the environment on club trips isn't like that - there are only a coupe of trips each hyear that a standard or near standard car can't com on.
You are better off to be driving a standard car on a trip than sitting at home working on your car.

Nah - you will make better choices about what you want to do and see the effect of modifications better if you start with a stocker.
We spend more time held up pulling out the modified cars when they try stupid lines (
nice work CJ) than pulling out stockers, unless they are stock wranglers.
We have lots of patience for stock cars - we all started out somewhere. a guy with a modded car he doesn't know how to drive is more annoying because they are harder to give advice to as they have already spent the money so they expect the car to drive anything.

I don't think I will be at anything until the snow trip in august as I am working on my junk ATM.
July was looking quiet but there were a few trips discussed for July.
Chris - has anything been confirmed?
