Which exedy clutch for hilux?

Post by dan_2818 »

Ive got a 89 lux with 33s and have just worn the clutch out.
Want to put a heavy duty clutch in there so i looked at the exedy website and found what clutches fit my model hilux. Theres the:

Standard clutch
Sports tuff clutch
Racing clutch
Safari tuff clutch

Which would be most suitable for me???

Thanks, Dan

think from memory we put a sports tuff one in a mates lux a month or so ago turbo2.8D 34's and standard reduction gearing 4.5's twin locked and it turns them fine price a few of the kit's and see what suits your driving and pocket. That lux also does some sweet 2nd gear hoops.
plenty of parts on the bench
