80s with ABS

Post by justinshere »

Can someone tell me if an 80 series built on 11/90 will have ABS? It looked like it was the top of the line model.

Is there any way of telling by looking at the master cyl? pics pics pics...

Cheers

Don't have pics though you would have a lot more pipe work coming off the master cylinder running over to the passenger side throught the ABS system OR if you have a front wheel off you would see the wiring going into the hub where the ABS sesnsor is
*T/D 80 Saharra - SOLD *V8 100 GXL - SOLD
* 105 - CHOPPED, LOCKED & ROLLED see build up http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=167093&hilit=busted100

Very late I think it did. Not sure if it got a passenger one but I've seen an 80 with a drivers airbag.

My 40th 97 model has the twin airbags. The dealer I bought it off reckoned that they were standard like that. I always thought he was talking out of his but on a few things, he probably would of tried to charge me more if he realised that it had a few moe options on it :roll:

Original 40th brochure shows ABS as being standard equipment, next line shows:- "driver and passenger airbag SRS - Option* "

Down the bottom the * notes:- "only available as a combined option of dual airbag SRS and ABS antiskid brakes"
