IRS Diffs & Ratios

Post by leehamescort »

G'day,

Doing a bit of research before I spend the hard earned.

I want a strong independant diff and am looking at the paj IRS (will be going in the front of my car, giving me longer axles for reduced CV angles)

What Ratios are available in the IRS?
Are their different IRS diffs?

I am in the process of building the rear and need to know what ratio I am likely to run and what is the best $$$ option.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks Glenn,

Gen 3 are the IFS curvy shaped Paj, yeah??

at the moment 4.1 is looking like my idea ratio, are the Gen 3 3.2 DID 5 speed manuals a common vehicle or are they something that was not common and i will have to hunt through a lot of wreckers for?

Please excuse my ignorance as I am technicaly Paj Challenged.

The Gen 3 is the ones with IRS and IFS. The Tech info page is a great one.

Thanks guys, yes the tech page is fantastic in the Paj section already checked that out.

I have now decided to go a different route as lockers seem to be a problem for these diffs.

Thanks again

I'll put a bet on that ARB's are not his weapon of choice :)
