GQ weight - Loading question

Post by Hof »

Hi all,

A 1990 LWB GQ - This is going to be for touring, only me and the misses.. Basically im taking the back seat out and installing a bunch of stuff, got steel winch sliders, brush bars, rear bar, steel basket rack and all the gear.. Ive fitted polyairs, to compensate a bit..

Question is, how much weight can you comfortably add to a GQ without loosing too much performance and straining the 4x4 itself..

Thanks for your opinion,

Hof

I would say under 7 passengers which would be you know roughly 500 KG - 2 x 65 kg people = 370 kg of stuff let for inside?

Just rough estimate there, proberly could get away with fair bit more.
