Rear tow/hook points on Range Rover Chassis
Hey people I recently rewmoved these when I removed the old towbar.
Upon inspection of the bolt that holds these babies in place I noticed they were rusted a fair bit and decided not to reuse the bolts, I have also decided I dont want to use the standard tow points either.
WHat I am after is anyone that can tell me a good replacement (including new bolts) for this............. I really need the rear ones to tow out my uncles Nissan and my Cousins Toyota whenever they get stuck.

TuffRR I noticed that I cant realy place mine in the same position as yours unless I get a different sorta rear bar with a whol/gap there (as I am not running any body lift).
What sorta rear bar (manufactured) would you guys recomend ARB (i think they look too big personally) and can you tow bogged Nissans out from most RR aftermarket rear bars?
I might just source a rear bar that has tow point on it.....
TOO MANY FRICKEN OPTIONS
The rear of the rr chassis has to be moded to put recovory points on it. You have to cut the L shaped bracket off and weld in a plate then drill.
ARB rear bar SuxOrs to fat too heavy too low... hmm anything i missed?
The rear bars that we run are home made jobbies that can tow a 3.5 tonne LC out of shite and snatch 17 discos one after another without a problem.
Rangie is one of the easiest rigs to build custom bars for IMO cause no body parts get in the way!!

Well I would liek to go custom but I have no idea about welding and shit like that ( I get my uncle to do that stuff and he doesnt have to much spare time on his hands ).
If I was able to get a custom bar for both front and rear I would much like that but I just dont have the knowledge or skill (I am an end user )
Who could I go and see around the gold coast in regards to getting some made up for my customised rig ? ? ?
And what sorta dosh would i be looking at for both front and rear customs ?

dunno i am from melbourne and I always buy my steel at trade then weld it myself A mate of mine go a custom bar made from CalBah for 1100 and a 6 month wait not really worth all the $$ as the welds are pretty shite IMHO
Just find a steel place and get friendly with some exhust bloke etc (make sure they can weld ) and see how it goes
