Why not put a holden V6 in it ? better size, cheap to buy and easy to get parts for - and lighter on the juice.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.

im using a vp v6 and auto the car cost 350 bucks and i made 500 out of doors and of things i sold off it.

a V8 would be cool but with all the cooling problems and space problem you have in the small hilux engine bay.
i desided it wasnt worth it.
getting HALF CUT ready for mudbash 09.
