ULTIMATE PICS

Post by bj on roids »

well, now that i have your attention, ive gone the chop, not leaving for the coast as its raining, and im scared, and waiting for the chicks to get drunker ;) so ill go a bit later, been working all afternoon, burnt my arm and cut my other arm good (scars are tattoos with better stories)

so with a little help from a friendly nine inch, im quite surprised its all together and good to go, not much in the way of rubbing even at full stuff, i have my new limiting strap in place, and this has tightened up the rear suspension considerably, and hopefully will rid me of the dreaded "bounce and hop" ride 'em cowboy syndrome, which has been hampering the life span of my axles!!

so all i need to do is finish the hyro steering, and the parts get here during the week, and fix my leaky exhaust gasket, and millions of other things, and i was thinking about getting rid of that dreaded brass button clutch, but im gunna roll with it for the time being, and my huge 35:1 final drive, should turn this from crawling into racing ;)

anyways, on to the pics, sam, when you see my strap idea, you will like the simplicity and bootie fabness of it, took 5 minutes, cost me $0 and doesnt look to bad, we'll see if i need to increase either the bolt or webbing size in the due course of time!!

that above shows my bootie fabbed limit strap which i think m,aybe limiting droop on the pass side, but hopefully not!!

c;ear;y enough flex to put a wheel on the bonnet of that 80 series, and the departure and approach angles that go with it!
