I'm also looking to relocate my breathers and brake line T junction to the top of the diff housings. Where the current factory breathers are in the way of where i want to put my coil mounts, and i want them above the oil level in the diffs too. Will i be able to just tap a hole in the top of the housing and weld up the old hole?
Also where the flexible brake hoses come down on to the diff housing and then T pieces it's also in the way and i'd like to move this to the top or middle of the diff also. This would also mean that all my air lines, brake lines and breather lines would come from one place and be easier/neater to manage.
any one see any dramas with doing all of this? It's all on a 75 series

i deffinatly agree with NOT puttign a non return line in.
the standard jobby that was equiped on my 60 series landcuriser, was a one way non return vavle, hot air was welcome to go out, but not back in, i extended al my brethers to the engine bay, thinking ah yeah nice and safe, thought id better put on the filter,
went out, had agreat day of fun, then, about 6 months later, my diff seazed, and riped out teeth in the transfer case, and as the little seal between them had gone, i had to repalce the gearbox also, 5000 bucks later, it was all running, nice and beautiful. how ever, i never knew that the filter was the culprate, so, i never removed it, a few months later went out bush again, ( blew a front cv) and ended up sitting in water for 5 hours. poped beads off, both fronts, diggin the front out, and hand winching, and pulling with a gq, eventualy got it out like i said 5 hours later at 5 am in the morning,
3 - 4 months later diff seazed again, ( and yes i did cheack my diff oil, and nither time was it milky, so i didnt drain it. i have lernt that very expensive lesson, and there for when i buy my next 4wd( which wont be till i pay off the other one) i will - 1 - cheack my diff oil after or b4 i go out(will be only for the bush) and 2 - will be putting my filters up higher, and making suer that they can breath, and that the diff is able to breath,
so learn from my mistakes lol.......[/u]
