GU CV?

Post by GU BUG »

Done a drivers side CV on the GU today & I was wondering who around the Sunny Coast sells/makes heat treated CV's & what sort of price would I be looking at or would it be better to just stick with genuine?

Any help/advice appreciated.

Stick with genuine. There have been a few on here (cv & axle) for sale.

I dont think any one does heat treated GU cv's and they are very strong standard. Must have just been wear and tear weakness.

Yeah I've been giving it bit of a hard time the last few trips out & the Rock crawl @ Battle of The Staes could have had something to do with it too :?

Has anyone bought one of Hobzee's CV's? They're on the cheap side compared to genuine just wondering if anyone's put them in theirs & what they reckon?

cheers

I know of a few with Hobzee's CV's in and I just put one in the other weekend. Haven't heard of anyone braking one yet

I know he has sold stacks of these, give him a call.

I'll be buying a pair anyway for spares ($55 ea, you can't go wrong) & replace the busted one I have with a ntn from C.V.1.

I may even put Hobzee's CV in first to see how it goes & have the other from CV1 as my spare :??
