GU PATROL, 145 LITRE TANK

HI, I HAVE A GU PATROL DIESEL. I WAS WONDERING IF A 145 LITRE BROWN DAVIS PETROL FUEL TANK WILL GO INTO MY VEHICLE. CAN I MODIFY IT TO SUIT MY DIESEL? HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME THANKS.

Out of which petrol model and into which Diesel model??? all the 4.2's are the same main tank (TD/TB in GQ to GU)

1998 onwards they are exactly the same tank.

I've been told by a mate who works at a TJM store the a GQ long range tank will bolt upto a GU!
Haven't tried it though :?:

I think you are referring to the 145lt brown davis tank on ebay? I believe they are the same petrol v's diesel.
