Try 'Mantamac' on here... his rig is awesome... in the UK although.

I didn't think Feroza's got bogged enough to buy a winch :D

if you look at the first picture in my thread you can see the steel bullbar and the winch underneath it. The winch is dead so ive taken the wire etc out

sometimes the vertical bits need some help also. I can get a Feroza
stuck / bogged with my eyes closed - perhaps that's my problem......

Thanks very much for the compliment.

Sorry for not posting sooner, but I've only just got back from the Ladoga Trophy Raid in St Petersburg, Russia, and haven't spent much time on the net since being back home.

I run a front and rear winch. Both are Champion 8000lb (Popular in the UK). The standard mounting points available on the Fez chassis are quite poor and IMHO unsuitable for mounting a winch bumper to. I added quite a substantial amount of steel to the front of the chassis to mount the winch and bumper to. The rear winch is located in the rear load area and exits through the rear door.

Here are links to the build threads on the old Difflock forum in the UK:

Front Winch:

Rear Winch.

A major consideration when fitting the winches was getting the best approach and departure angle possible. I am quite pleased with the results.

Here are a few more recent pics.

That is truly a masterpiece.

Dont expect mere proof to sway my opinion.
