GU Rims

Post by Wilko76 »

Hey

I have been seeing a few GU's getting around with black coloured rims. They appear to be a standard type rim.

Are they standard alloy rim painted or bought like that?? Really like the look of them.

They probably ROH Blak Trax, was chasing a set last week but told by a couple of tyre mobs that they aren't any in Australia and don't know when will be available again, said they will be around the $120 each mark, saw another place for a simple balck sunraisya for around $110 each.

A while back ProComp had a deal where they threw in four rims if you bought four tyres, so they may be the ProComp rims.

thanks for the replies

Saw one the other day. had to be 1999+ as it was a 4.2 TD

I don't think they were sunraisyas. Looked more like standard rims. Tried to google the ROH rims but no luck.

checked out the ROH website. Set on their called "monsoon" under the 4x4 section. look pretty similar. also saw the black trax. didn't think the ones i saw had that many spokes.

Do people like the black rims on a GU. I like em. wife hates. so do you think i will be allowed to get a set......?
