Found out this week little A1 as gone to heaven :cry: ...........



Only the MOTOR :roll: .............New owner was just driving down the street a few strange noises puff bang lottsa smoke from rear .................ooooops :oops: I yeah the rocketyhoppa has also blown earlier 2 :roll: ..............2nd time since being in A1


It surely wasnt the way it was driven by the previous owner (or was it)!!!!!!!!??????? :?: :armsup:

I only got the info second hand off a female............so...........but wen i said its prob no.4 piston gone she said yeah i think they mentioned something like that ........

i'll try and find out and let yas know



zoooks seem to have and inherent prob with no. 4 wearin ......its due to a coolin prob isnt (im not sure but im sure some1 with betta knowledge will tell me )

A1 only had reasonable low kays tooo :?:

bummer...

I know that sierra motors apparently 'ovalise' their bores (where the piston is), but that should happen over time - i.e. with older engines. Mine had about 175,000 when it started smoking pretty badly.

But then again, I have heard of a few sierra's still going strong with over 300,000kms on the clock... :?

ive seen the way the new owner drives it on the road an he dosent go to easy on it :D

well thats good i dont feel so bad but i have heard that he aint too easy on it..........but gee his truck he can drive it how he likes ;) :twisted:

i know of 2 coliy engines that have died both from no4 piston.and your spot on with your knowledge.
