ABS fault codes..?

Post by Lucus »

Hey guys my 93 RR's abs light is one. I've tried reseting the sensors but that hasn't done the trick. Ive check th codes and i seem to be getting 1-2-2.

My Haynes book doesn't list that code. does anybody have a comprehensive abs fault code list for a 93?

cheers

Factory manual only shows groups of 2 as in 2-12 sensor frt right . ( two - twelve )

Only shows start numbers as 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 and 6

Thanks for the reply Peter. I must be doing something wrong or reading the code sequence incorrectly. Do you have an electronic copy of the factory manual?

if you do could you possibily send me the section about abs faults?

thanks

Thanks for the codes Peter. All four sensor had air gap faults. I fixed the sensor faults. I have a reccuring BPP sensor code so i just need to reset the BPP switch and that should be sweet,

I think the sensor issues where caused by the wider off set sunraysis rims i fitted. I doubt the car has ever had a wheel bearing adjustment in its life and i reckon that would been enought to cause faults at all 4 sensors.. :D

Un(?)fortuntatly my eas went for a long walk off a short pier before i bought the rangie. must say im pretty happy that it did.... :D

I found out that reason my abs codes where out of whack was beacase they Hayned book i have failed to mention that you have to remove the ABS light relay before you start the code sequence......
