GQ/GU Suspension Bush bolt size?

Post by cbr »

I am using standard rear trailing arm GQ/GU Suspension Bushes for my 4 link suspension. I am a few question:

What bolt size is needed for this rubber bush?

Is there any sleeve used between the bush and the bolt?

Does the standard patrol suspension use a washer/spacer between the bush and the mounting bracket ?

Thanks
Chris.

if using std bushes they are a rubber bush with a sleave vulcanized (spelling?) in the middle for the bolt, they use a 14mm bolt and no spacers or washers on the bush, just clamped in the bracket.

yep that's it.

So with a 14mm bolt it has a small amount of play, maybe 0.5 - 1mm. Is that correct?

Thanks.
