ML triton 15k km service cost

Post by Austblue »

Can anyone tell me what they paid? I was just quoted $420 but I'm going to ring around since I found a 20% variance in the 7.5k service.

Also if you know what's covered that'd be great, thanks.

:bad-words: Prices so far: $420 by City mits, $355 by Paul Wakeling and....$550 from Wollongong Mits! I asked the last two what it covers and they said fluid/oils and valve clearances. I then told the w'gong bloke he was $200 more than the c'town and he claimed they weren't doing valve clearances. When I corrected him he said "well I'd go there blah blah" at which point I interrupted him saying fine, thanks bye.

Problem is they're the closest to my work :(

Kirrawee came in at $750 WTF! They're telling me that there's $300 odd worth of parts. In 1minute he got the price down to $620 and I thanked him then hung up.

Albion park mits is the winner at $280 and they're near enough.

I cautiously brought it to his attention that I was concerned he was *gulp* too cheap but he assured me that covered all of the service including the tappets. I asked if he knew anything about gaskets having to be replaced as per Kirrawee (tynan) told me and he said no that's bs.

Can anyone confirm/deny? I'll be giving Mits Australia a call tomorrow to discuss it
