Still building my front one, so heres some half built picture (sorry not the best photography). Welder died on Monday so my progress is somewhat hindered :cry: . BTW mines for my Sierra.

Front on, lower sides and upper bar work not there.

Back, showing mountings etc. Also got side bottome bits just sitting approximatly where they go.


I made a wooden mock up first, its a very helpful idea. Made skeleton out of 6mm ply, then body out of 1mm single ply stuff (cut with stanley knife).
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.

yeah there steel only 3mm plate tho with some thin flat bar welded and shaped around the edges to make it pedestrian friendly :roll:

To Update my previous post in this thread, Used the old arc welder instead of the MIG, and got my bottom section roughly together, and sat it on the car:

Just got to neaten it up, reinforce some areas, and add the top bar work.
Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
