2.8 Hilux willnot start
Hi, guys, my 1993 2.8 deisel hilux wiil not start, it turns over no worrys but will not fire. I was thinking maybe it was the glow plugs because of the cold weather is there any way i can test them to see if they are working, or is there anything else i should be checking. Hope somebody can help me thanks Damien

spray some crc, rp7, rid, anything aerosol into the intake and turn it over, if it starts its your glow plugs. if not its ur solenoid? on the fuel pump.4wheelsdriven wrote:Hi, guys, my 1993 2.8 deisel hilux wiil not start, it turns over no worrys but will not fire. if so the fuel could have drained back.
when you pump up the fuel does the plunger go hard?
you may need to undo the injector hose slightly and turn the motor over to get the air out of the fuel lines.
