What springs did you use to lift your Gen 2 pajero

Post by Dexter »

Hey everyone,

I have been seaching this page alot to try and find what people are using for their suspension lifts. I have found some tough dog coils online but they are only quoted as being 40mm lift.... this is more like 1.5 inches, is that what other companies are rated at also?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I have read about them on here a few times, most reports are about how good they are then, after two weeks the OP states that they are too bouncy or stiff... Or that they are worried about the destruction on Uni joints. So was just looking for some off the shelf ones, if not I will look at GQ springs.

cant remember the brand but it was a place in moorebank. they also had a shop in vic i think.
might have been "fox" or something.
aparently they make suspension parts and sell them to other companies that rebadge them as their own

We started with TJM Progressive rate springs that stated they would give a 50mm lift, they did for about 500k's then sagged about 20mm. Went and brought a set of second hand Dobinsons Linear rate coils at a great price and they have kept their height since we put them in, the guy we brought them from had only done 1000k's. The lifted height was also more with the Dobinsons, only by about 10mm, this was even when the TJM coils where new.
I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!!!!
