few mates go them on patrols and cruisers.
seem ok for the price. dont seem to clean as well as the bfg and etc. but may have been lack of power or the mud.

I had these on my sierra and they are awesome!!! I just sold em after 12,000 kms and they had very minimal wear even after a very severe treatment from my driving No punctures and i only needed to let some air out to get up a very steep sand dune. They were slashed after driving thru a bog hole that some fool had left sheet metal and glass etc in and they still hold there air fine. From what i've seen they clean alot better than Savero's and Grantrek in the slop. I'd still have them now if i didnt jus upgrade to a bigger cheaper mudder

Thats a big increase in price, and there was a fair bit of positive responses to the cheaper tyres. I'm not saying they're not worth $1500, i dont have the slightest, but people seem happy with the cheaper tyre, do you need the more expensive ones?saffrett wrote:http://www.maxxis.com/products/automoti ... sp?id=5485 i just had a look and got a new quote for $1500 for five 31x10.5 on 15x8 black king rims wat does every one think of these they look good

i have been running za set of maxxis big horns on my lux for a yr and a half now, they are a great tire.I am happy with wear and on rocks, but not so much with mud.I paid $880 4 4 32's fitted.I would run them again and have often thougt of getting a set of 31's for my zook in the same tread.Or you could even try the NanKang mt's a mate had them on his zook with a welded rear and they were good.Hankook Mt's even?
