Fridge
Try Trailblaza, they are in QLD. I have had mine for 17yrs and very reliable. Aluminium construction with 75mm off foam for efficiency and not too much battery drain.
Another here for Engel.hdn177 wrote:Engal as well!
but if your lookin for Waeco, look here www.fridgeshop.com.au - I think its factory seconds - plenty of mates have got from there cheap... but usually BIG ones like the 90s...

And there we have it ay. Cheers heaps for all your replies! My question has been well and truly answered. I was already leaning towards an engel until a mate told me his and his father in laws fridges shat themselves 3 or 4 years later, or equal to 6 months continuous work. But still sounds the goods to me. Cheers again all!!

My father and grandfather have both had 40L Engels for years (the old green type) with no problems. I bought one of the newer (grey) combi fridge freezers. Has been great bar two occassions up at Cape York when I really needed it. Shut down on two occassions for around a day and then started working again. Took it back to Engel rep who 'tested' it over a few weeks and said it was fine. No problems since but was pretty peeved at the time. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence for the next big trip.

Im here for the sausage!
My Engel 40L ran for over 2 years 24/7. Either in the back of my car or beside my Computer with cans in it. It has never had an issue.luxembuger wrote:And there we have it ay.
