gudday peoples,

i have searched but no joy :cry:

what i want to know is will a 4l ford motor and 4spd auto fit in my mk with seperate transfer?
i dont want to move the transfer if i can help it.

does anyone have the length of the ford motor and trans from front of motor to extension housing on auto?

i know . i,m knot answer the question ford 4 speed auto is a long box but might fit if u move it ford would like to see it going good luck :roll:

yes it would fit.... dont know length, but if it needed to come foward a bit try a electric water pump, could also mount radiator remotely.

mate i run the 4.1 250 X-flow with a C4 Auto and 60 LC t-case fits in no worries customs mounts adn all that, I don't think ya get the auto to fit the MQ t-case however.

Maybe contact Dellow Adaptors

the front ov my MQ mixed with a ford fairlane for a second or so a cpl of weeks back, but the ford got so scared it crumpled itself up in an effort to get away... so id say, no, they dont mix...



as for engine conversions... cant help ya there :D
